Ije: Strangers and friends can tell me things they’ve never told anyone else before. This has led to 2 things...1-my drive to be part of social change work and end the violence that happens in the dark behind closed doors. And 2-my desire to learn how we heal and grow through our pain.
I work with creative, multi-passionate women who feel stuck around money. Whether they're feeling afraid about what to charge for their products/services or feeling like they can't take the next step in their life because they don't have enough money. I help them dissolve their money worries so they can do their thing. I like to think of my role as a business development coach as part doula, part dream catcher!
It's Camila from High-Heeled Foot in the door blog. I'm an interior design blogger turned interior decorator and small business owner. I felt lost when I graduated from college. I was constantly searching for something more creative in my career. I had a complete quarter life crisis. After many years of woe is me with my career situation I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and do something about it! This revelation of actually doing something instead of complaining came from an episode of Grey's Anatomy. Yay for TV! Becoming a yes person and do-er led me to starting my blog in order to document my journey of getting my high-heeled foot in the door and breaking into the interior design field.
I can now officially say that I'm in that door and loving it.
While I always love to be fashionably late I can not believe it is almost 11:30 and I'm still having problems loading my video.
Fingers crossed you can all view the video and I guess I've saved the best for last! :)

That said: I've had a complete technological FAIL!, and am submitting a video I did last summer (and, ahem, a few pounds ago). It's about finding inspiration in a most unlikely situation, and about how one person I've never met has really made me realize that we each have a job to do.
Jadyn Senior: *disclaimer* I am having trouble with Mac Photobooth, which I was using for the video...it only shows the first 1 1/2 minute! I thought I'd send it in anyway though, as I figure it's probably enough to get a sense of who I am. I do apologize!
What didn't get into the recording: After reading the quote, I went on to say that I am a big believer in helping each other along. I have realized after much thinking that I want to be a life coach, for that reason. I intend to start working toward this withing the next year. Right now, I'm in that place where I'm in a job that is not right for me. I also went back to University last year, but I'm realizing that might not bring me to where I want to be in life. I'm bound by responsibilities yet committed to moving forward with intention to create my life rather than go with the flow. Already, I work on bringing more creativity into my life by blogging and making the time for creativity in my daily life. What I would bring to Spring is the perspective from someone who is in the place that I just described and talking about what I face along the way. I realize this may not be what you guys are looking for, but I thought I'd participate anyway :) Lastly, I wanted to say that I have enjoyed all the videos that have been submitted so far. I think every contestant would bring something unique and interesting to the table. I am honored to be among them.
Thanks Spring ladies and everyone else for watching!
