June 30, 2010 Happy Wednesday! This week we have a beautiful surprise for you - TWO prints from the very talented Valentina Ramos of Valentina Design!

When asked to describe her inspiration for her work, Valentina writes,
Some of my work is primarily driven by the idea of
self healing and positive energy, which are motivating concepts that
ignite my passion to create. Through my paintings I hope to inspire
and help others follow their dreams. I try to bring a fantastical,
dreamlike appearance to my artwork, which is made of digital drawings,
mixed media, and pen & ink illustrations, among others.
I’m a truly believer on positive thinking. I believe positive
affirmations can help you to keep yourself on track and work hard to
reach your goals. The difficult part (to me) is trying to keep your
mind in the in a positive state 24/7, I wish I can, but it’s not
easy. I create colorful inspirational art with messages to remind
myself (and others) about the good things and the things I can
achieve.

Oh I love these! I feel like I might be on affirmation overdrive, but it is just becoming so apparent to me that by thinking in a positive way I keep moving forward.

I LOVE Valentina's work and the ideas/messages within her work. The art is inspiring and also beautiful to look at...What more could we want?! I would love to see Valentina's line work on glass wear.....Wine glasses with fish decorating them for example. Great work!

I had a rough day today - feeling a little overwhelmed by the fact that I'm moving across the country, on my own, away from my family next month. These are prints are the exact sentiments I needed to read right now. I'd love to see them hanging on the wall of my new place.

Yes, these are beautiful and I would love to have them hanging in my newly painted master bedroom. We have a bird motif going on in there in honor of my husband who loves birds.
